About Me

I live in the great Northwest after having spent most of my life in the Midwest. When I came here it was like coming home. My husband and I met in 2003 after we both had suffered the loss of our dear pets. He was living in Vancouver, B.C. CA and I was living in Indianapolis,IN. I was using apet loss website called rainbowbridge.com to try to get through the painful grief of losing my wonderful male sheltie named "Alex". I had gone through over three months of trying to keep him alive and it just wasn't to be. Jimmy had lost his friend "J.J" an english cocker spaniel and wrote a beautiful tribute to him on the website. After I read it I felt I had made a connection to someone very special. We believe Alex and JJ helped us somehow from the other side to find each other. In 2007 we were married and live here in Bellingham Washington with two shelties "Anna" and daughter " Abbey" and Reno another english cocker. We enjoy our lives together and now run a healthy dog treat bakery called J.P's DoG House Chews...our website is jpdoghouse.com. I have three adult children, two sons and a daughter and eight grandchildren in Indiana.
